Softness overcomes hardness — the paradox of strength
“A person is born soft and supple. At death, they are hard and stiff. All things — grass and trees — are soft and pliable in life, dry and brittle in death.”
人之生也柔弱，其死也坚强。万物草木之生也柔脆，其死也枯槁。故坚强者死之徒，柔弱者生之徒。是以兵强则灭，木强则折。强大处下，柔弱处上。
Stiffness is a sign of stagnation — in the body, in the mind, in relationships. Stay flexible. Stay open. The ability to adapt is the truest sign of vitality.

坚强者死之徒柔弱者生之徒——坚硬刚强属于死亡，柔软弱小属于生存。
兵强则灭木强则折——军队逞强会被消灭，树木太强会被折断。
