将欲取天下
The world cannot be forced — release control
“Do you think you can control the world? The world is a sacred vessel that cannot be forced. To force it is to damage it. To cling to it is to lose it.”
将欲取天下而为之，吾见其不得已。天下神器，不可为也。为者败之，执者失之。故物或行或随，或嘘或吹，或强或羸，或挫或隳。是以圣人去甚，去奢，去泰。
The more you try to control your life, the more it slips away. Surrender the illusion of control. Flow with what is, not what you think should be.
天下神器不可为也——天下是神圣的，不可强行治理。
为者败之执者失之——越强行越失败，越把持越失去。
去甚去奢去泰——去掉极端、奢侈、过分。
此章警告统治者的过度干预。
